Jo Ann Murtha has been a Financial Representative with Cornerstone Financial Group since 2004.  After being in “corporate America” for 20 years in the banking industry, Jo Ann changed careers because she wanted to create a meaningful impact in the lives of her clients while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit. She chose Northwestern Mutual Financial Network because of the strength, reputation, and respect the organization has within her community.

Since joining the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Jo Ann Murtha's practice has grown to encompass a diverse clientele surrounding a core clientele of women professionals and business owners. Jo Ann enjoys leveraging Cornerstone Financial Group's network of specialists as resources for cases involving a high level of preparation, such as business needs and working with high net-worth individuals.

Jo Ann Murtha believes that professional involvement and development is an important aspect of being able to fully provide for her clients. JoAnn received her Chartered Life Underwriter, CLU, professional designation from The American College in February 2011.

  • National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is a national nonprofit organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide, through its federation of over 900 state and local associations. Founded in 1890, NAIFA is the nation's largest financial services membership association.
  • The Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce works to strengthen and maintain a solid, diversified, economic base, one that ensures a healthy business climate and a prosperous, progressive community, promotes and protects the fundamentals of the private free enterprise system as the foundation of our nation, helps its members manage more effectively, efficiently and productively by excelling in the delivery of Personnel, Research and Management Training Services, and provides the necessary business leadership and service in the cooperation with other public and private sectors aimed at improving the quality of life in the Racine area.
